Why can't we get new servers with ACS?

I think they still need to program in some limitations. I remember when they had to restore a backup from the previous day and all progress was lost because we broke ACS on the Big12.

With all fleets combined between some top players, it couldn't handle the computations of almost a billion ships. In other words, it timed out and errored.

Mostly for consideration of the game balance, ACS would let some players combined too strong to be defeated. :P

However on the flip side, not allowing acs allows very strong players early in the server to bully players

If turned on for a new server I would suggest:
  • Attack/Defence strength cannot exceed 150-200% of the targets military strength
  • Players with the same IP address cannot join the ACS

I'm also not sure if ACS has been used with the Honor System, so another suggestion would be:
  • If the target is Shameful for anyone participating in the ACS attack, then all players attacking in the ACS will get negative honor; even if it would have been a Glorious hit for one or more of the attackers in the ACS and attacked the target individually.
  • -OR- always be negative honor since the target is being ganged up on. Number of Attackers exceeds the number of defenders.

Basically, if you want it back on you have to provide suggestions for the devs to convince them. See above for their reason for leaving it off, and make an argument for turning it back on.

My suggestion would be if we can't attack together can we defend? I mean we should be able to deploy a fleet to a friends planet so we can protect each other

Also nigga what do you mean make an argument? My argument was that not having it allows big players to bully smaller player
